The Verge Conference will take place in Austin March 1st and 2nd. This important forward-thinking conference is focused on Disciple Making, which is the core principle to Jesus’ Great Commission and the means by which the Gospel will be spread to the ends of the earth. Recently there has been more and more of a resurgence in the interest and passion for making and multiplying disciples. From church planting movements in the East, to transitions in resourcing in the West (including the Multiply Movement with David Platt and Francis Chan), discipleship and disciple making have been thrust to the forefront of the movement of the Gospel around the world today. AND WE HAVE THE HONOR to pray for this impactful event! We have been asked to pray onsite and also attend as possible. We realize that you all have been praying in and for the gospel for years and this conference is an answer to your many cries for God’s help in our city and nation. We are privileged to take part in this ground breaking gathering and pray for the attendees to put into practice the challenges which are presented. So join us and come onsite, expecting the insight of God to help in focused intercession.
There will be small group leaders to facilitate our times together. Each day has 3 slots for prayer. If you sign up for one or two, you are encouraged to attend the conference free for the rest of the day. If you sign up for a slot each day, you are welcome to attend the entire event outside your scheduled prayer times.
Venue: Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater
Times: 9:00 to 11:00 am; 1:30 to 3:45 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm each day
Costs: Free for the day you pray one or more sessions
Parking: Downtown parking lots, Carpool or take the bus or walk. Suggested parking sites are included on the Verge site
What to bring: Your Bible, your faith and some water to drink
