[podcast #8] Answering Your Kids’ Toughest Questions

In this podcast, Ashley Andreano and Jamie Ivey interview Jessica Thompson about her book, Answering Your Kids’ Toughest Questions. She gives insight as a mom on how to shed light on the uncomfortable topics and use those questions as opportunities to point her kids to a savior who saves them from guilt and embarrassment.

Process through these questions with God and the people around you.
1.When your kids ask you tough questions, do you tend to dismiss or shy away from certain topics? Why is that? What are some ways you could create a more comfortable environment for your kids and their questions?

2. Do you model to your kids embarrassment and shame over sin, rather than point them to savior? How would it look different if you spoke to your kids with hope in a savior, rather than encouragement to be embarrassed or hide?
