What is a webcast?

A webcast is a live video broadcast of an event transmitted across the internet. If you can watch a YouTube video, you can host a webcast!

 

Can I attend the Verge Conference in Austin?

Yes, the Verge Conference is open to the general public. You can also participate via the webcast. We are inviting individuals, small groups and churches to participate by hosting a Verge Conference and showing the webcast on March 27-29.

 

Can I watch the webcast at home?

Yes. You can watch the webcast in your home. You will need an internet connection and a computer to watch. If you can watch a YouTube video, you can host a Verge Webcast!

 

Who will be speaking at the Conference?

You can check out all the Verge Conference speakers HERE. However, we will not be publishing the specific speaker line-up for each Main Session.

 

What will the schedule be during the Conference?

7:00pm-9:30pm – Main Session 1 | Redeemed: Jesus Is Better

Friday, March 28

9:00am-11:00am – Main Session 2 | Redeemed for Redemptive Leadership

1:30pm-4:00pm – Main Session 3 | Redeemed for Gospel Community on Mission

7:00pm-9:30pm – Main Session 4 | Redeemed for Incarnational Justice

Saturday, March 29

8:30am-10:30am – Main Session 5 | Redeemed for Everyday Mission and Discipleship

11:00am-12:30pm – Main Session 6 | Redeemed to Redeem

 

Do I need to download or purchase anything before the Conference?

The Verge Conference Webcast is free of charge. You do not need to download or purchase anything to participate in the Conference. However, you will have the option to purchase the Digital Access Pass, which will include all the Main Session talks, at the Verge Network Store.

 

Will there be a printed program or guide for the Conference?

Yes. You should receive a PDF booklet of the program that can be given or shared with participants.

 

We’re hosting a Verge Conference Webcast at our church. Can we use the videos that are on this site to promote? Are there other promotional items we can use?

Yes. You are free to download and share any of the videos and other promotional materials we have posted HERE. If you have registered to host Verge at a church, you can go HERE to download and use any of the promotional materials. (Because this is a free webcast event, however, we are unable to provide technical support.)

 

When will I get a link to the webcast?

All registered participants will receive a link to the webcast approximately one week before the Conference. If you do not receive an email with a link email [email protected] and let us know. You must register to receive the link.

 

I am unable to watch the webcast on March 27-29. Will it be available for my group to watch at a later time?

Yes, you will have the option to purchase the Digital Access Pass, which includes all of the Main Session talks, at the Verge Network Store.
